It was great to see all of you who braved the elements to come out. Thanks for supporting local artistry. I hope you enjoyed yourself as much as I did.

All, I'm sorry you couldn't get the library space. I'll advocate on our behalf as best I can. See you tomorrow night.

Thanks . We want to work with and to be in libraries like Danbury and Westport spaces do with their libraries.

Kevin.. You are welcome, but just finished begging the HPL to give access with room reservation forms and policies but at the end this morning, they did not give Thurs access. Rennovations are scheduled , Room is busy and the final killer " Unless an organization submits a copy of 501c3 paperwork, there is a fee associated with renting a room here at HPL."

After filling out the forms and reading the rules etc. The answer is no for Thursday and hopes for future at HPL for bigger events are more difficult. Still trying with HPL however, think they will like us later as Danbury and other makerspaces work/partener with libraries. It will be nice when we have our own space. Less fuss, moving from space to space and more making

So Ben and I , and perhaps you will meet 4 elsewhere. Working on an alternative??. big enough to fold and fly some planes? WHERE? MH has no space as usual, for the making. At worst we meet at Russian Lady, chat, fold and fly on the sly at 4.

    Paper Airplanes !
If any of you are available EARLY at somewhere nearby to RL * in Hartford at around 4PM , New MH member with Origami interest, Ben Parker .. Ben and I may be meeting somewhere * Hopefully HPLibrary glass atrium (Pref. trying to get approval 4 thurs, see also our pending meetup date TBD ). Else, if not HPL, location = ? at RAW Russian Lady (= RL - too small and approvals? ) ?? or (bigger /near ) ?? . I would prefer the HPL glass space for practice since that seems like a natural venue and a feature for Hartford.

At 4 PM, Thurs, Ben and I will practice and test-fly Paper Airplanes for our up coming Paper Airplane event.. " Fold and Fly " or " Folding and Flying" . " Folders and Fliers " . This event may be our first MH event ( April or May?) where we actually MAKE STUFF, together.. and organize our own event. Hopefully with and about HPL, perhaps kids and teens too ? This pre-session will be for organizers, folders and more frequent fliers.
