Hartford MakerSpace Show-n-Tell

Welcome to the Hartford Makers Show-n-Tell Party!

What better way to get to know each other than to hear about what we're working on, or what we want to work on?

We'll start at 6 with talks beginning at 7pm about some potential group projects and forming some working groups. Then we'll take a short break to allow for discussion and when we resume we'll get to the really fun stuff... show-n-tell.

Id you'd like to share you idea or project with the group please send me a message and based on the number of submissions we'll figure out the way to order them (or pick from a hat).

We'll be meeting at The Hartford Academy of Math and Science - 15 Vernon Street, Hartford (Between Trinity College on Broad and the Institute for Living on Washington). You may park in the building's lot or on the street. We'll have signs posted to guide you to our room from the entrances.

This room offers a projector, laptop hook up, whiteboards, a SMART board, and lots of seating and table space. Its practically a dream come true. We'll provide some light refreshments and welcome donations to cover costs and raise seed money.

I'm sorry but I would be able to make it... Work responsibilities have me tied down. Sorry for the late response, I wanted to try until the last moment... For next time.

I'm looking to find people to collaborate with on projects. I believe that great innovations come from the collaborative process.

    Just to share this info:
The Entrepreneurial Center at the University of Hartford has received a grant from the city of Hartford to support Hartford businesses with free technical assistance (marketing, financing, QuickBooks, business management and more). It's a great opportunity and the program is in its second successful year. We work with small business owners - from home-based businesses to brick/mortar stores. The city wants to help businesses to stay in Hartford and take that next step in developing their businesses. Eligibility: business needs to have been in business for at least a year, be located anywhere in Hartford but downtown, be for profit and serve Hartford residential and/or commercial as at least a portion of their clientele. We just received an extra grant to work with Parville businesses in particular, please send this info along if you know anyone that may qualify. For more information, call Shelli McMillen at[masked] or email [masked].
