Makerspaces, like ours, combine manufacturing equipment, community, and education for the purposes of enabling community members to design, prototype and create. We can make things that wouldn’t be possible to create with the resources available to individuals working alone. Got extra tools? Got an old workshop filling your garage where you want to park the car? Got "Know-how" - want to show us? ( Videos from other Makers) Origami, Soldering, Wood working, Knitting, Pottery, Programming, brewing beer, Lasers, Drones/UAV, Arduino, Electronics, Business Startups and Prototyping, and/or Deconstruction. Or do you want to learn? Let's share tools, knowledge, skills and space. We are located at 30 Arbor St., next door to a fine Hartford Arts group, Real Art Ways, 1 block north in a basement. Almost all Wed. Nights we have an open house at 6 PM. See meetups.
MakeHartford.com is Hartford's first and only MakerSpace community of artists, technologists, and entrepreneurs for hands-on innovation. Where minds create matter.
