I'm in the process of building a device which will measure one's mood by measuring and visualizing Heart Rate Variability. Given my background at hakia measuring and visualizing the mood (psychology) of specific entities (stocks, products, brands, politicians) on the Web, Blogosophere and Twitterverse, I now want to focus on empowering humans to make better decisions by making them conscious of their moods. Not only do I want to build a device that will make them aware of their mood, but it will give them the opportunity to change it. Ultimately I want to build more consciousness into social networks by allowing users to share their mood digitally.
Given the success of Pebble Technologies and the Mio Alpha watch, I am very intrigued in using Kickstarter to assess interest, and also raise capital. Additionally, I want to learn more about fabrication and design iteration.
