What is your favorite project you made with or for your students?

We are busy exploring 3D printing with our recently acquired Thing-O-Matic and learning 123CATCH from Autodesk. For the Maker FAIRE this year we have; a group using a head mount that tracks brain waves to create music and image collages, tech fashion pillows with integrated circuits sewn in to run LED lights and a player piano shirt.

What are you hoping to get out of this group? (meet more makers, meet other educators, actually make projects, exchange ideas, etc)

Introduction

I am the Director of the ROP Marin Media Center at the Intel Computer Clubhouse in San Rafael, CA. We have attended the MAKER FAIRE for the last four years. We are producing a documentary about The Young makers groups here in in the SF Bay Area.
