What is your favorite project you made with or for your students?

I really enjoyed a workshop I helped with, conceived by Diane Willow, about a decade ago with sensors and water pumps that she called "Aquaducks" -- Kids made water fountains which turned on when other water hit them, for example, and the kids programmed their interactive sculptures with LogoBlocks (a bit of a precursor to Scratch, for programming the "Cricket".)

What are you hoping to get out of this group? (meet more makers, meet other educators, actually make projects, exchange ideas, etc)

I'm the Education Director for MAKE and Maker Faire, and I am also working on the MENTOR Makerspace program.
