Exploding Trains and Burning Buildings!

Update: We're having trouble with the projects and one of the instructors may not be able to make it, as such this session will be offered as an open session. The material will be available in the current state and we will charge only for the materials. The full class will be offered at a later date.

Model train layouts are nice, model train layouts with action are nicer, so that's what we're going to do. In this class we'll make trains explode and buildings burn. Participants will leave with their own building burning smoker suitable for use with a model or toy building of their choice. Ideas for other effects will also be demonstrated though not all of them are suitable for permanent installation.

Cost is $15 materials.

About the instructors

Andy Fundinger has been playing with trains for an awful long time and making things smoke for just as long, combining them deliberately is more recent. John Foberg is a model rocketry hobbyist, MakerBar member, and working on the exploding trains. Richard Jedrzejek is MakerBar's chemistry expert and preparing the smoke for the burning buildings.
