Reverse Space – Build, Create, Collaborate.
“Weekly Meeting and the new FLIR E5 Thermal Imaging Camera”
This week ReverseSpace will be opening the box for the new FLIR E5 Thermal Imaging Camera. This is a shared donation from the host school Cortona Academy and a member of Reverse Space for all to enjoy. We now have the ability to take thermal picture of our 3D printer's heat bed, circuit boards, and lower the heating bills of our building.
There is also a great post below from Hackaday.com on using a lens from a CO2 Laser to greatly improve the resolution close up on circuit boards. Because of this post, the $40 lens hack has been ordered and should arrive at the space near the end of January 2014 from China. Come by ReverseSpace and try our this exciting technology!

This week we will also have the standard Thursday Makerspace meeting. If you would like a tour of the Makerspace, please come between 5:30pm to 6:30pm for a tour. ReverseSpace is open for new people to see every Thursday.
5:30PM to 6:30PM - “Tours of the space. All are welcome!”
6:30PM to 7:30PM - “The opening of the new FLIR E5 Thermal Imaging Camera”
5:30PM to 11PM – The Makerspace is open to everyone and their projects.
If you have any projects you are working on, feel free to bring it to Reverse Space! We have locked storage space, hundred of tools and electronics, and the largest sections of free to use 3D printers for any Makerspace (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hackerspace) on the east coast of the US. At this time membership is free.
