Introduction
Beads Land, with nearly ten years of consulting and skills-training experience, and more than twice that many years of technology experience, organizes two of the five largest Meetup groups in Nassau County.
What are you most interested in learning as a member of this group?
What all our other members most want to accomplish through their Meetup experience!
When did you first join Meetup? Would you consider yourself a veteran, novice, or somewhere in between?
January 2005 ? Meetup had been around for nearly three years before I first discovered it.
How Internet savy are you? Is this all very new to you, or so old hat as to be mothballed?
I started programming when I was eight, but my first experience with the Internet was an independent study project in college to document www-lib. (Ended up launching half a dozen Web sites instead.)
