About Mamas & Munchkins
Kids make new friends so easily, but let's face it, as a mama it's hard to make new friends. So we'll let our munchkins lead us! Play dates with Mamas & Munchkins are a safe place for your munchkins to play and a chance to get to know other mamas who share similar interests.
There are tons of fun things to do in Anchorage, and we'll help you keep on top of them with our events. Check the Calendar regularly for updates and new events. Send in ideas for other events. Let's have fun! In order to keep things interesting, every mama has the opportunity to host at least once each year. What fun ideas will YOU come up with?
We have a regular meetup on the second Saturday of each month. Other events are listed as they are added. We try to have events all through the week so that SAHMs (Stay at Home Moms), WAHMs (Work at Home Moms) and WOHMs (Work Outside the Home Moms) can participate. We have in-home playdates, park playdates, Play Land playdates and playdates in other places around town. Once a month we have Moms Night Out, a special night out with friends without any kids or spouses. We also have Couples Night Out once a quarter, a special dinner with other couples, no kids. On the same night of CNO we have Singles Night Out. This is for any single mamas or unattached for the night mamas (If your spouse is deployed, working late, not wanting to go out, etc., then hang out with the girls!).
Our message boards are a place for discussions on parenting topics, as well as just about anything else you want to discuss. The Message Board is open to all M&M mamas. Any mama can start a discussion. Please take our Polls regularly to help provide feedback on what we're doing... as well as just to have fun!

Mamas & Munchkins is limited to those who are approved by the Organizing Team. That way, only approved members can see where and when our events occur and our munchkins stay safer. Prospective members must attend an event and meet a member of the Organizing Team in order to be approved. Once you fill out your profile you'll receive an email letting you know when and where our next meetup will be.

After meeting a member of the Organizing Team and being approved you will have access to our site for 30 days so you can decide if the group is a good fit for you and your family. Membership fee is due within your first 30 days. Membership is only $12 per year and is non-refundable.
