Groups - Six Month Anniversary Meet Up - THE BANK - Manchester

Lets meet up and celebrate our groups six month anniversary:-). I took over the group on 11th October and I am really pleased with the progress we have made. Some great people have joined and each meet up has been a fun, relaxed event, with quite a few laughs!

So I thought we should go back to where it all began as I scheduled my first meet up at The Bank in Manchester. I really like this pub and although we have been back since I thought it would be the ideal place to go to celebrate the last six months. I will also have paid our half yearly group dues so we can toast to the start of the next six months - Any excuse to go out for a drink hey;-)

This pub also does nice food from what I have been told, so feel free to get a meal if you are coming straight from work. I might be getting dinner as we will be meeting at the slightly earlier time of 7:30pm.

I also want to take this opportunity to thank the new members who have joined since I took over, and who have made the membership contribution. This support by you means more than the financial help in paying for the website. This shows that you are committed to the groups survival, and this is why I am definitely going to continue running the group for at least the next 6 months:-).

--------------------------------------Here's the website spiel:-)--------------------------

You will find The Bank in Manchester within a short stroll of Portland Street, York Street and George Street. Step in to discover a traditional pub of unique character, revered for its eclectic range of real ales and its quality pub food, which are served, as they should be, with a generous measure of famous British hospitality.

Our pub is in one of the most culturally and historically important buildings in Manchester. Originally The Portico Library, it was conceived in 1803 by a group of businessmen and built in Runcorn stone and a neo-classical style. The library and newsroom opened three years later in 1806 and the Portico Library still survives upstairs.

Please don't worry if this is your first meet up, I will send those attending an update e-mail describing where we will be meeting, and what I will be wearing. I also have set up a mobile specifically for meet up events so I will give this number out so that I can be contacted.

I hope you can make it, and look forward to seeing you there.

Kind Regards,

Ann Marie

What a shame you can't make it Elaine, I can't believe six months has flown by already. I have been busy with birthdays and studying in March but hoping to get some events organized for April soon. Looking forward to meeting you. x

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
