Who will be our first chosen serial murderer?

The purpose of this first meet-up is to pick which serial killer we want to focus on first. Obviously, I would pick Ted Bundy but I am open to suggestions. Once we get that narrowed down, we can decide if we want to read several books on the same person over a period of time or if each one of us wants to read a separate book on the same crimes and share their insights.

In case you happen to be shy, I will be the one wearing the Jeffrey Dahmer shirt.

Brian and I are both planning to be there tonight but due to a prior commitment and distance, we will probably be late (around 7:30). I hope that's ok!

I don't think I'll be able to make Monday but I'd be interested in reading the book & then meeting.

Leigh, Just check this site after Monday. I should have the next meet-up scheduled and it will include the name of the book we decided to read for next time.

I like Ann Rule's book "The Stranger Beside Me," Ann was already a published true crime journalist when she started working with as a volunteer on a suicide crisis hotline with a young man that so impressed her that she was going to set him up with a date with her niece. Yes, that young man turned out to be Ted Bundy! That books and others in a similar vein are on the following link:

Aside from The Phantom Prince, this is my favorite book on Bundy.

Can we ever do a weekend during day meeting. Evenings during the week are difficult for me due to my schedule. Thanks!

Judith, We definitely can do one during the day on the weekends. This is just the first time we are meeting so if you have any suggestions on books or better times for the meeting, I want to hear them.

I have my daughter that night so won't be able to attend. Too bad. I think I still have Ted Bundy's Rorschach in my files somewhere.
