Road Trip To the National Crime Museum in D.C

Join us for a road trip to the National Crime Museum in Washington, D.C. For all you other Bundy fans, I confirmed that his VW bug is still in their possession. Additionally, they have an exhibit on the Unabomber and another on crime in America which should include a section on serial killers. If you would like to check out their site, its www.crimemuseum.org. As of right now, this will be a one day trip. We will meet at our usual spot at 8am. If there is some interest in getting a hotel room in the city, please let me know when you RSVP and we can look into it.

Jen: I'm sure you know about this one, but I happened across it today:
Museum of Serial Killers on FaceBook. It's "our" kind of page. ;-)

And to think I was there in Florence 2 years ago and was more interested in seeing Michaelangelo's David. Silly me. LOL

We don't really have a specific plan. Usually we meet wherever there is an event unless its like this weekend when there is something far away. We probably won't do anything like this one for awhile since the only places I can think of that I want to go to would be boring to most people like Taylor Mountain where Bundy left some of his victims or a trip to FL to see the Chi Omega Sorority House, the high school where he kidnapped Kimberly Leach, and the prison where he was incarcerated.

Great day. Only wish they had more about serial killers and added the Original Nightstalker to most famous unsolved crimes. LOVED BEING SO CLOSE TO BUNDY'S CAR!!!!!!!

Guys, if you book your tickets online, they are cheaper. Make sure you get the general admission for noon since that's when the rest of us are getting them. Please remember, if you have ANY questions, last minute cancellations, etc., call me[masked]

I just got my tickets for the museum online. I got the Noon tickets with an audio tour - $22 plus $1.23 fee. It's cheaper online. See you all on Saturday outside the museum at Noon.

Great Diane. I did the same thing. I got noon tickets and the audio tour. I also got that detective thing. I'm not quite sure what that is all about but I figured it would add to the experience. The tickets were cheaper online and I got a military discount. So excited!!!!

I booked my room. I'm going on Friday and staying overnight. Getting the 9:45 bus back on Saturday night. My mother may join us. I'll let you know as the time gets closer though.

Hi All: Just a little information. There is a Living Social deal online right now for a room for $89 a night at COURTYARD ALEXANDRIA PENTAGON SOUTH. The deal includes the breakfast buffet for free, also. Pretty good deal. If you buy the deal before Friday, you can use the MELT20 Code and get 20% off. I got one for $24.00 because I had so many credits! So, I'm staying. Not sure if I'm going to go early Friday and stay Friday night or go on Saturday morning and stay Saturday night. Leaning more towards taking the day off on Friday and taking the Megabus from Newark. I've always wanted to check out Old Town Alexandria. The hotel has free shuttles to the Metro stop which takes you into DC.

Looking forward to this. However, I will take the Bolt bus from the University of Delaware since it's more convenient for me (and only $2 round trip). Let me know a place I can meet everyone. Thanks, Jennifer.

I would really really really like to go. I have been dying to go to this museum but I have something else this day. Any chance it would happen again?

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
