A wonderful evening with some excellent beer all in fine condition. A voucher for a free half of Hawkshead beer and some extra tokens from someone for minding their coat!! Great night.

My missus and I had a great time at last year's Forever Bury festival - great range of ales, all kept in beautiful condition and at £2 a pint an absolute bargain - and we'll definitely be there at some point on the Friday night. Gigg Lane is very easy to get to, too - only about 10-15 mins walk from the Metrolink / bus station in the town centre. Plus, it's been well-publicised that the club is in pretty dire financial straits at the moment, so speaking as a Bury FC supporter and Forever Bury member it would be great to see a good crowd there to help with the fundraising efforts.

Bury FC has had a rough season on and off the pitch, it's true. Back to League Two next season, maybe a chance to steady the ship and try for promotion again in a few seasons' time.
