Group of chilled Mancunians looking to meet up, with no extra fees.
We have Facebook Groups: Lovely Friends (public) & WoW [EU] (gaming).
New in town? Looking to make some friends? Need recommendations for reliable bars & lounge? Interested in casual events? Join when you like, late arrivals welcome, as are early leavers!
We know the best spots for activities, amateur comedy, console & board games and great movies, online socials and quizzes.
With direct affiliations with many local venues, bar staff, bouncers, managers and more, we fully support the hospitality industry wherever possible and recognise the hard work they put in to keep this city alive.
Venue recommendations & event ideas welcome via Discord (like WhatsApp with no numbers and less spam). By attending our meetups you consent to photos being taken of you and posted to here and Discord.

This tends to be pretty well attended and should be a good night.There's no step-free access at this venue and the only food is crisps.

- Current affairs - obscure news, weather, scandals
- Music - played backwards or just lyrics
- Movies - lines, scenes, trivia, actors
- Wildcard - anything, we've had biscuit questions and cocktails
£ 1.00 payable at the venue, to the venue, if you wish to participate.
Prizes are money (1st) and free drinks (2nd or last).Quiz part starts 20:30 and lasts around 2 hrs including breaks.

Occasionally we host online events as well as the normal socials.
We know these are less popular but they're cheap and easy.Frankly if I'm not out, I'm online in a game anyway.

Similar to WhatsApp but better in every way, esp on a computer:- Mobile numbers don't get shared
- Computer users can share screens
- Decent quality voice chat
- In-app games that work on PCs phones & tablets
- Notifications can be totally silenced or just specific topics etc
