Please note that this Sunday, as it is Mother's Day, we will not be having the usual optional lunch before the walk, as it has proved very difficult in the past to find a suitable lunch venue.
But the walk goes ahead, led by the very able Chris Wells, whose walks are always very interesting and very well attended. Please note that there is the added benefit of a station start, with trains running every half an hour from Picadilly.
The walk is mostly on the level, about 4 miles in length, and afterwards we may stop for tea at the Lymefield garden Centre.
The view over Blagdon Lake, Chew Valley.
There are usually between 15 to 25 walkers dependent on the weather and location - so by all means come along and join in, ..... It;s a great gateway to the rest of the club, you can talk to new and existing members and find out about the full range of events we have on in Manchester every month.
Just let us know you're coming along on here and we'll make sure you 're made to feel very welcome !
