All About CiviCRM

This month, we have a talk all about
CiviCRM - an open source Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) software package which organisations can use to manage:

  • Contacts (individuals, households and organisations)

  • Targeted Communications

  • Online Contributions / Fund Raising

  • Memberships

  • Events and Training Courses

  • Grants

Whether you use CiviCRM or have no idea what a CRM is - Olly will talk us through it! Oliver Gibson works for
GMCVO (Greater Manchester Centre for Voluntary Organisation) managing the delivery of online CRM (Customer Relationship Management) database solutions to voluntary organisations across the Region. The use of open source software means that the solutions delivered can be done cost effectively and to a high professional standard with no vendor lock-in. GMCVO is the support (infrastructure) organisation for the voluntary sector in the sub-region of Greater Manchester.

Great to get some inside info on real life usage of CiviCRM by voluntary and community organisations. Looking forward to using it in house integrating it with other Drupal systems.

Hi everyone - Ive had to push this back to 7pm, as at the same time there is another event at MadLab: Together Works Social Enterprise in Greater Manchester.

People may well be interested in coming along to this event too - starts at 4pm with networking and case studies on social enterprise. Our talk on CiviCRM will fit in nicely!
