If you wish, fill this space with some info about you, what made you think about joining the group, your interest in philosophy, whatever.....

I am interested in the concept of 'justice'. Not particularly things such as criminal justice like prisons. I am interested in issues such as Machiavellian ethics, utilitarianism and retribution.

Do you have a suggestion for a book we might read and discuss one month?

I'm very fond of 'A Brave New World' by Aldous Huxley. Maybe we could read this, or maybe even just watch the film and discuss the concepts involved? (obviously with an emphasis on what 'justice' means)

Hi, I'm Shaun. I am a post-graduate student (hopefully going to start a PhD some time soon). My field of study is criminology (specifically critical criminology).
