About The Manhattan Scrapbooking Meetup Group

We are a group of experienced Manhattan-area SCRAPBOOKERS who get together on various weekends. We currently meet in Chelsea. This is not the place for beginners to learn how to scrapbook because we do not have classes.

We meet to work on our own scrapbook projects in the company of others who are doing the same. We often learn from seeing what others are doing and what tools and techniques they use but we do not have formal instruction.

We all work at our own pace with few organized activities. The main advantage of this group is that there is a place to gather with others interested in the same hobby and it's FREE!

Our message board includes discussions about where to buy scrapbooking supplies, both online and in the city, as well as advice regarding specific techniques. Our members include demonstrators/consultants for various scrapbooking supply companies, a scrapbooking instructor, busy professionals, artists, professional parents, teachers, and everyone in between.

You must attend regularly, have an active email address and be able to RSVP on this website. You also need to participate on the message board for some events.
