How about a gift tag swap (by mail)?
The theme is Holiday/Winter.
Please make a gift tag with a Christmas holiday or winter theme. We will swap and have some tags ready for our holiday packages.
Use a Christmas motif (non-religious, please) or a winter design. You can vary the shape, if you choose. For rectangular shapes like the standard tag - make them no larger than 3" x 5" and no smaller than 2" x 4". To make another shape, for example, a snow person or tree, it should fall within those same dimensions. If you would like to make a snowflake or round ornament, it should be no wider than 3" in diameter.
These tags should be made with gift giving in mind. Leave room for the user to write names on the tag but do not write or stamp "to" and "from". Do not write your name on the back since these tags will be used as gift tags. (Check the website after distribution to see who made each tag.)
Use stamps, paint, paper, drawings, magazine pictures, embellishments, photos etc.
You will need to make a minimum of 5 Tags. You will receive 5 tags in return. (You can make more based on the number of participants, if you wish,)
Due date is November 14. I will include the mailing address in the reminder email that I send 1 week before the due date. Include $1 to cover return postage and I will mail 5 different tags back to the address you provide. Don't forget to enclose that address!
If you sign up but find you cannot make the deadline just change your RSVP to no (and email me if you are canceling at the last minute). No stress!
Size must be between 2 inches by 4 inches and 3 inches by 5 inches or 3 inches in diameter for circular shapes.
- The Tag should be at least as thick as cardstock but can be as thick as 1/4 inch as long as it can fit in a baseball trading card pocket.
- Use Christmas (non-religious) or winter designs.
- Do NOT put "To" and "From" on the tag.
- Cards should be close to identical (to prevent whining from people who think other people received better cards!)
- Do NOT put your name on the back this time.
