Level 1 ATS - Ongoing Dance Classes
Mimi Fontana of Manhattan Tribal Studios is certified by Fat Chance Belly Dance as an ATS Sister Studio, and the first FCBD format ATS classes in New York City.
Come and learn real deal American Tribal Style Belly Dance in a fun and supportive environment with a wonderful group of women of all ages and body types.
Level One – Wednesdays from 6:30pm – 7:30pm
Location: 440 Studios – 440 Lafayette Street at Astor Place, 4th Floor, NYC 10003
This class focuses on Dance Fundamentals:
Using both slow and fast movements and steps we’ll drill the basics and the partner formations unique to ATS. You’ll be dancing in your first class!
We'll cover basic ATS movements such as: Taxseem, Circle Step, Torso Twist, Egyptian Basic, Arabic Basic, Shimmy Step and More!
Classes are ongoing so you may start at anytime.
$17 drop in per class
