Nickolas MarinelliThis was my first meet-up with this group and I felt very comfortable. Paolo was a most gracious host and, in spite of my struggle to speak in Italian, I felt that everyone was patient and helpful. The people in this group are very friendly and nice.

I want to give a very honest reply as to the rating of the meetup. I think having a group as such is a great idea, however there were a few things that I felt were below par, at least for what I was expecting of the event for $30. 1. The venue: it was so loud that it was VERY difficult to hear which makes it even harder when you are trying to speak a language that you are struggling with. 2. The music only added to the loudness and was not really "Italian" style to boot. 3. The food was not what one would expect for $30. 4. The wine pours were not a real glass of wine. 5. The table settings did not make it feel like a "group". 6. Therefore everyone seemed to be in their own little group and there was no mixing.

Carole HarteI thought that the meeting was highly disorganized. I was given 3 separate times, 5:30, 6:00, and 6:30 as the starting times. I came at 6:30 . There was no music playing and when they did, it was awful elevator type style. The only food on the table by 7 pm was some pizza and salad, after being on for 1.5 hrs. It was closing at 8pm, so I really do not know if any food came out because we left. There was not enough seating, and it was too cold to sit comfortably outside. And last but not least, I am a brand new member, and I was not even acknowledged walking in by anyone. Not welcomed or introduced. The meeting lacked an overall warmth, just an aloofness. How do they expect to get new members when you are treated this way? Honestly, there are many places to go, and in these times, people are picking and choosing where and how to spend their money. Unless, I get a suitable response from the organizer, I regrettably will not attend anymore.
