I have created this group so that I can share my knowledge of yoga with anyone that has the desire to learn. This will be a donation based event to make it affordable for everyone to explore this ancient practice. The class size is limited allowing for individual attention to be paid to each student. This meet-up is all about finding peace and balance in your life through yoga and meditation.
The class will be predominately a vinyassa flow yoga class. Yoga is an ancient physical practice focused on uniting a person with their breath and the universal spirit. The practice is a precursor to meditation allowing the individual to calm and settle their mind. Vinyassa flow is a series of sequenced poses strongly connected to your breathing patterns. Through practice of yoga the individual is able to find a balance of mind, body and spirit.
I am going to be teaching a donation based yoga class every Thursday at 7 PM on the west side. The class is going to be held in a beautiful, clean & quiet space named the Lind Building (see photo of Victorian building on main page).
