I propose that we discuss one of the following topics:
+ MVC and Xquery
The nature of Xquery makes it all too easy to develop code that is a mish-mash of the M, the V and the C: of XML, HTML, and the 'non-XML' part of the Xquery syntax (somewhat respectively -- :-) ). Is that even so bad?
Let's meet to discuss the overall issue and review the existing attempts (on github) to 'solve' the 'problem'. There may or may not be a general problem as such, but let's in fact come up with some reference scenarios against which to define both problem and solution. Please make some suggestions.
+ JSON and XML
Problems and opportunities. Here again, there are several libraries to look at and review on github.
Regardless of the topic, I would ask for volunteers to present a portion of the information we would review. Please let me know if you are interested.
I am open to more suggestions. One talk I see repeated from the Conference is Hadoop and MarkLogic, which I wouldn't mind hearing again, and going more in depth on.
I have set a date so that we can work towards it, but obviously, it is flexible.
