June PRAM Lunch & Learn: Is the News Release Dead?

Is the news release dead? Should we be using Twitter to tell our stories? Annette Hacker and Angie Hunt with Iowa State University News Service will lead a discussion on the public relations/media relationships of today. Annette and Angie have years of experience in both the newsroom and in public relations. They will leave us with some tips for enticing media with your story, what to do when media calls you, and more!

We will also leave plenty of time for networking. Please do not hesitate to bring your thoughts or questions to the group.

Lunch will be provided FREE this time courtesy of the ISU Research Park. If you would prefer a vegetarian option, please email Alison Doyle at [masked]. Also, if you aren't able to make it, please update your RSVP no later than 24 hrs in advance if you plan to cancel to ensure we don't waste lunches.

Unfortunately, I am unable to attend. We are big proponents of Social Media, Linked In, Facebook and Twitter!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
