  • We'll meet at the stone path near the intersection of Braddock's Mill Rd. and Kettle Run Rd. in Evesham Township, NJ
  • Join us as we explore the Black Run Preserve, right here in our backyard in Evesham Township.  It is a valuable asset for those of us who love the outdoors and unknown to many even in our local neighborhoods.  So come on out and learn more about it.  This is considered easy to moderate terrain and will be about 4 miles.  Bring your binoculars and birding handbooks for birding, and GPS or smart phones with your Geo-cache apps and  even your camera.  We can do some of each if you wish.

"The Black Run Preserve is a 1,300 acre parcel of permanently preserved land in Evesham Township, located between the Marlton Lakes and Kings Grant neighborhoods. It is an ecological wonder of Pine Barrens forest, wetlands, streams and old cranberry bogs, and hosts a variety of threatened and endangered plant and animal species. The Preserve is traversed by numerous existing hiking trails and sand roads. Recreation opportunities include hiking, mountain biking, birdwatching, nature photography, geo-caching, and environmental education."*
