I found an article on Daily Candy touting the top 9 international brunch options, and I figured they must all be tried! So we're going to have one Sunday dedicated to each of the 9, and go through the list in order.
The write-up for this location was:
Tokyo, Japan Via: Daikaya
Small plates such as French toast soaked in soy milk with a bruleed sugar top; a smoked salmon and lox-inspired dish of sashimi served with a rice ball coated in everything bagel toppings.
International pancake: Crispy, fish-shaped taiyaki stuffed with red azuki beans stands in for a waffle. It’s paired with fried chicken, naturally.
The Dai-drop, a bead of orange juice mixed with aperol that is suspended in a coupe of sparkling wine.
Boarding time: Sun., 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m.

Please note - this meetup is for the restaurant on the second floor, not their Ramen shop on the first floor. This location is very close to the Gallery Place/Chinatown metro stop, and there is parking at the Verizon center directly acros form the restaurant, or at the lot run by Standard Parking just north of the restaurant at 6th and H St.
