Martial Arts for Special Needs Children No recent ratings

Our teaching method has proven successful in helping special needs children overcome some of their learning and developmental issues - all while they have a great time!

Martial Arts helps special needs children develop focus, balance, gross and fine motor skills, and self-confidence in an environment that emphasizes respect for the students and for others. This is a vigorous, disciplined workout, in the Eastern tradition, which trains the body and mind to adapt to stress. Martial Arts training in this style, gives opportunity for students to develop new brain pathways, challenge themselves - and be the best they can be.

“Hello Mrs./Miss Brandon, I was glad to read your intro about your 15 1/2 year old son, as my 15 1/2 year old nephew has Aspergers (a form of autism) and I'm looking for self-defense classes for him as well. It might be a stretch but I've decided to attend the Nov. 29th class (since it's only from 11-11:30 right now and Sundays are not the best time for me to make plans), just to see what it's like. Feel free to join us at the Teens-Summer-At-The-Movies Meetup, your son might really like it.”
