We run a game about once a month on Saturday or Sunday depending on peoples availability. We locked in the last Saturday of each month as our game day.

We have two 14x4 Battle Tables and use 3D terrain. We have enough Mechs, Tanks, and support equipment for general player use if you don't have your own stock of combat miniatures.

We have basically everything for the game if you just want to show up to play.

There are two types of Battletech Players.

Type 1. The player who just wants to show up on game day and blow enemy mechs away and not have anything else to do with the game and doesn't want to be bothered by other game activities outside game day.

Type 2. The player who gets involved in internet based side activity for his unit, tracks salvage, writes backgrounds for his unit and pilots, builds a unit book, tracks unit budgets, and lives to command a Task Force on the table. These players also sometimes like the RPG bits of the game and develop character sheets for the crews and pilots.

Both player types have a place here.

Most of our regular players are old hats with the game. Most of us started out playing succession wars. The bulk of our crew are mostly real life ex soldiers, ex mercs, or current military. A few are not so don't let that discourage you. Our buddy Derek is a Chef and a Blacksmith and he kicks ass. Greg was in the Army but he's a big time software code writer now. This isn't just an old soldier group. We accept anyone who loves the game and we're pretty diverse.
