Guided Night Hike with
The Nature Conservancy
The Furnace Town Living Heritage Museum in Snow Hill, MD will provide a guided nature hike to explore NIGHT sights and sounds of the Pocomoke Forest and Nassawango Swamp.
At 6:45pm we will gather in the Visitor Center in preparation for the guided night hike. Tour guides for this evening will be Joe Fehrer and Gary Marine, both members of The Nature Conservancy and Furnace Town Foundation. The walk will begin at 7:00pm along one of The Nature Conservancy Trails and end about 9:00pm.
All walkers are encouraged to wear sturdy, water resistant shoes and bring a headlamp or a flash light!
This hike is a part of the educational environmental program at Furnace Town Living Heritage Museum and this event is free for members of Furnace Town and The Nature Conservancy.
Cost
The Nature Hike fee is $6.00 for adults paid directly to them and not our group, $5.00 for AAA, Over 60, & Military ID, & children ages 3-12 are $3.00.
