Beautiful hike -- Keith did a great job, giving us a bit of history and other information along the way, as he always does so well. We lucked out on the weather -- rain held off until I was driving back to DC, and this is the first hike I've been on with Keith that we haven't slogged through muddy trails. Interesting and fun group of people on the hike. Next time, I want to do it on horseback -- should be a different perspective.

That's strange. There were 23 people signed up for this hike, an odd number. Then I get an email telling me there is room (because I was wait listed & someone dropped out). But when I log in, now it shows only 20 people signed up, but there are still no openings. Apparently the maximum size for this group is variable (?).

Please note that all dogs must be on a leash at all times for their safety and in consideration for the safety and comfort of others. Also note that we will leave as scheduled. Prudence requires you to add at least 20% to Google's and MapQuest's estimated travel times to avoid disappointment. Bring a map or a GPS if you're geographically challenged. IYLYOYO.

Kat, lets meet at LLBean again. What time? We are not far from there, about an hour. Parvati, why dont you let Kat and l know and if your recovered , you can join us . This way if your still not well enough from the flu, we still will be carpooling from the area. Does that work fro you Kat?
