Susquehanna State Park! A Moderate "Rolling Hills" 8 Mile Hike Along the Woodland Area Trails!
"Experience the wilder side of Susquehanna State Park as you walk in blissful solitude through woods full of old growth. This hike also takes us down to the Susquehanna River, just behind Rock Run Mill. There are a wide variety of gulls here and Conowingo is a known favorite of nesting bald eagles."
Transition Hike
This is an awesome hike for a leg workout and for anyone wanting to step it up from an easy/ easy side of moderate hike or even working up to strenuous hikes while checking out the very interesting sites along these trails!

Please remember we are a social hiking group that values fellowship and camaraderie and practice good hike etiquette. We take breaks as necessary and have at least one guide in the front in addition to a "sweeper" in the back which means that no hiker is left behind. If you get upset because someone has to rest at the top of a hill etc. then please find another group! We are very supportive, encouraging, and focus on safety while getting or staying fit on the trail and practicing Leave No Trace outdoor ethics.
