Transplant from Western PA who has been living in the Baltimore area since 1984. I belong to a golf league and play frisbee golf at the course in College Park. Been doing most of my walking on the B & A Trail and wanted to explore new venues.
Attended the Full Moon hike around the monuments as a guest of a current member. Was impressed by how well the event was organized and by the friendliness of the members.
Interested in moderate walks since my knees aren't what they used to be! Limited to weekend hikes at this point in time.
As always, very ogranized and receptive to the needs of the hikers.
There is a Very Large Group for the Wegman's gig. Do you think that you might consider being a host for tomorrow or for the movie. I really would like a break. I am leaving for about a month and am swamped with work to do. Just wanted to ask for help!!!!! Joanne

Thanks for info David about Columbia activities
Thanks for the info, Dave. Hope to see you at another meetup soon,
Thanks Dave. Peggy and I got back to our cars safe and sound. Hope to see on another meet up soon. Tom.
Ooops. I'll put them up in a minute. There aren't many. I actually forgot to take a group photo 'cause I usually do that at the top of the hill.
The event on the 29th of September in Gwynns Falls Leakin Park is a night hike on natural surface trails. I allow for two hours but tend to let the pace be determined by the group. Not sure of the grade but there is a good part that is all uphill and then again back down to the stream valley. As for parking there are several trail heads. It would be dangerous to park along Franklintown road because of the lack of room.
Hope that answered all your questions.
Dave, I made it to Walmart! :-) Thanks. See you again on the trails!
Thanks--nice to meet you all, too. See you back out on the trails!
