By organizing it LOL
To hike, hike, hike!
I thoroughly enjoy this group and it has become a large and important part of my busy life. I have made many friends and the great diversity in this group is not only embraced, but valued. The excellent camaraderie is one of its greatest strengths and keeps this large group feeling small and intimate. It is very easy to meet others and make new friends since the hikes are kept small, yet everyone who wants to gets to hike since they have dedicated leadership team who are certified and very skilled hike leaders. This group has tons of hikes of various skill levels and locations. Looking for a rehab hike, walk, or very strenuous mountain hike of 20+ miles you will find it all here. Hope you will enjoy the MAHG as much as I enjoy organizing the group. ”

Kellie - At some point I saw a review/rating form for Ricketts Glen. I can not find it now. Can you help me?
Im interested in the Dolly Sods car camp. I was up there last weekend with teh Morgantown meet up group. I live in Elkins and am leery to drive a car up the gravel roads. If I could meet the group in Elkins Id definitely sign up for the trip please advise anne [masked]
Hi Kelley,
This is Toni Stanley letting you know that I attended and participated in the Brookside Gardens Project Earth Day Volunteer event on Sunday April 21st. I pulled invasive weeds during that project. Please register me for the month of free hikes.
Thanks,
Toni
Kelley - I'm not sure why the Little Devils Stairs meetup was deleted. However, the 6-mile version also starts at the same place as the longer version. If the writeup says that the Stairs are being done FIRST, that means starting at the bottom, not the top. It also is 2 miles longer from the top, making it an 8-mile hike.
Kellie, I always knew you are an amazing person, but didn't know you are so amazing until I read your story on The New York Times ("Sniffing Out Crime by Bits and Bytes" by DENNIS BLANK Published on August 31, 2000) today. I'm deeply touched by your story and realized why you are so strong and passionate.
Please allow me to bow to you. You are my idol and role model.
Hi Kellie! The Mid-Atlantic Hiking Group is awesome. :-) We featured a photo from one of your recent Meetups on the Meetup HQ blog: http://meetupblog.meetup.com/post/396...![]()
Cheers to your continued success! -- Katie, Meetup HQ
Hey Kellie! Sorry I've been MIA. I slipped on the steps and knocked my back outta whack again. So I am taking it easy for now. I plan to be back out soon. Take care!
Kellie and Mike. Over here from Australia. Our monuments in the moonlight was fantastic. Catered for all grades of walking, loved the idea of the illuminated bands for identification.
A great history lesson and enjoyable time. Congratulations
and hope to join you for another hike. Well done. Claire and Mark.
Hey Kellie,
