  • I know of a good place for you to combine fishing and hiking Kevin, there is a park called Piney Run and I have explored just a small portion of it while searching for beaver hutches to fish from. I spent hours walking the shore exploring the lake and was sure to check out the nature center while I was there. I will see about posting an event at that location when the crappie and sunnies start spawning.

  • Kevin, welcome aboard the WATERSEDGE KAYAK MEETUP. Please take a moment to answer the group profile questions ("do you have a kayak", etc.), or maybe post a profile pic so you can be recognized. If you don't currently have a kayak no problem. There should be some events and resources throughout the season that will allow you to "test drive" some kayaks. Hope to see you on the water this season, and welcome to the WATERSEDGE KAYAK MEETUP.”

  • Hey, Kevin...my son is studying to become an environmental scientist! Welcome to The MD.DC.VA Hiking Group! I hope to see you on the trail soon! We offer at least two hikes every weekend ranging from very easy to very sternuous, and also have 3-5 walks during the week, so hopefully something on the calendar will work for you. Come as little or often as you like as there is no pressure and we are very laid back...
