I've spent too much of my life indoors....what a waste!
Recommended by an organizer in another group for hikes that are friendly, not competitive...
Easy/moderate hiking at first, would like to learn more and get better at long distances over time.
Hey Naomi, sorry I missed your reply till now. If you're in town Pickwick at DC9 on 4/27 will be a good show. - Barrie
You mean you're not a true hipstress?
Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so love the people who treat you right, forget about the ones who don't, and believe that everything happens for a reason. Know a good thing when you see it, and don't let it slip away. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said it would be easy, they just said it would be worth it!
do you dance salsa and merngue?
I will do that! Send me your cell and I will text if I end up with an extra ticket. Daughter is inviting a friend and that's always iffy. I ended up with two extra tickets for Tuneyards last night that I couldn't sell.
Hi...thanks for the heads up on traffic. I rarely have a need to travel in that direction and wasn't aware of the conditions. I probably will change my RSVP.
Hi Naomi..I just joined this group. Likewise, I live in DC having moved from Florida and am looking to meet like minded friends. Although Reston is a bit far I do plan on going and am wondering whether you'd like to meet up and car pool. Hopefully there will be some events close to DC. Hope to hear from you.
..saw you on MeetUp and hope we can chat soon..
I'm so glad you had a nice time on my part of the hike. You are right that second part of the trail you took is quit rough. Hope you made it out ok. I really enjoyed talking with you and hope to see you out on the trails very soon.
