Introduction
I'm a naturalist at a Baltimore County park, with a passion for getting other people as excited as I am about the natural world, and learning more.
What is your level of knowledge about botany/native plants?
A working knowledge of the common plants. Formal course work in botany, plant taxonomy, plant ecology a long time ago.
Where is an interesting place in Maryland/DC you'd like to have a field trip?
Dolly Sods WV (OK I know it's not exactly Maryland/DC, but fascinating none the less)
Are you interested in organizing or leading a field trip?

Hi Justine! Would you be interested in helping me host this meetup? We could work together to plan accordingly. It has been quite a while since I've encountered aquatic inverts (I took a larval taxonomy course in college, but now I work with terrestrial pest insects), and I'm a little rusty. I need someone who is very familiar with identifying our findings. I can do order and family ID, but that can mean nothing to the layman. Anyway, thought I'd put it out there, please let me know!
