I'm a naturalist at a Baltimore County park, with a passion for getting other people as excited as I am about the natural world, and learning more.
A working knowledge of the common plants. Formal course work in botany, plant taxonomy, plant ecology a long time ago.

Justine, Welcome to Chesapeake Audubon. You can learn more about us and our upcoming activities and read our most recent newsletter at www.chesapeakeaudubon.org. If you would like to receive email notification of activities send an email to [masked]. I look forward to seeing you on future field trips. Hugh Simmons, Vice President, Chesapeake Audubon Society.
Hi Justine! Would you be interested in helping me host this meetup? We could work together to plan accordingly. It has been quite a while since I've encountered aquatic inverts (I took a larval taxonomy course in college, but now I work with terrestrial pest insects), and I'm a little rusty. I need someone who is very familiar with identifying our findings. I can do order and family ID, but that can mean nothing to the layman. Anyway, thought I'd put it out there, please let me know!
"Hi Justine. Welcome to our site. I'm pretty sure your name only has 2 'f's. We can't correct that from the group site , but you can change it at your main meetup Account. Go to www.meetup.com and--if your cookie is working-- the page that compiles all your meetup sites should show. At the upper right corner is an Account button, which will allow you to change your name, well, at least correct the spelling of your name ; )"
