In preparation for the New Year, we'll have guest speaker, Reggie Gooden, at this Sunday's meetup to discuss how to improve our fitness for the coming year.
Reggie Gooden is an ISSA Certified Fitness Trainer, licensed acupuncturist, lifelong martial artist and owner of Dragon Gate Fitness. Reggie is an avid fitness buff, mainly due to his love for martial arts. He has been training in various systems since 6 years old and is now competing in amateur tournaments. He believes in the body as an instrument to be fine tuned so that it can perform at its best. He works out 6 days per week including weight training, cardiovascular training and combat arts. He is also well versed in nutrition and how it impacts health and wellness.
On Sunday, Reggie will share his knowledge on the importance of gaining functional fitness so that you can be at your best physically, emotionally and spiritually. He will discuss and demonstrate exercises that can be done anywhere, anytime without weights or equipment. He will impart the REAL SECRETS to obtaining a lean athletic body and show you often overlooked tips and tricks that you can practice to improve your performance.
