Belief in a Universal Force, be it Energy, Chi, Ki, Prana, or the Force is more than just a fictional concept. The ways of the Jedi are ancient and fundamental. Its wisdom has always been there for those who sought it.

The Maryland/Virginia Jedi Chapter is not a role-playing group, nor is it a Star Wars fan group, although many of us are fans. This group is designed to bring together people who follow and practice the principles of the Jedi path in real life. Come explore the real life foundations on which the fictional Jedi were based such as Eastern philosophy, self-awareness, meditation, self-defense, martial arts, psychic development, energy cultivation, healing, volunteerism, and much, much more.

If you’ve ever been inspired by the Jedi in the movies, this is your chance to follow that path in the real world. At the Maryland/Virginia Jedi Chapter you can meet with others who know that life and meaning are more than meet the eye. Learn practical concepts and techniques to better yourself and those around you and bring your own wisdom to share with the group.

We have local Chapters throughout Maryland including Catonsville, White Marsh, Hanover, and Rockville Maryland, and now Northern Virginia. You can also check out the Jedi Resource Center / Jedi Gatherings Group (www.jediresourcecenter.org) if you wish to meet other Jedi on a more global scale.
