This executive order, issued 4/4/11 is one of the many results of the work being directed by Central MD Semantic Meetup Member of Spry, Inc. for the OSD, Deputy Chief Management Office under the direction of Dennis Wisnosky, BMA, Chief Architect & CTO.  The order specifies that the Business Enterprise Architecture (BEA) will be described in an ontology using OWL and RDF.

The directive states; "

"Effective Immediately (1) the EC2 Framework shall be used to drive and organize BEA content with the federated BEA ontology and (2) future releases of the BEA will be synchronized with the highest priority systems acquisition and modernization efforts related to critical activities within the Hire-to-Rehire and Procure-to-pay E2E Lifecycle Models."

I will upload a file of the full Directive to the Meetup Site

Congratulations to Spry, Inc.
