Thank you Carolyn! Wow, well, the cursor in the comment box is working now.
Hope you all have a great evening - I'm actually still at work, lol!

I unfortunately cannot make it. I have to go out of town due to a death in the family. I look forward to a future meetup and hope this one is successful!

Did you know that 51% of Facebook fans and 67% of Twitter followers are more likely to buy the brands they follow or are a fan of.

Frank, Yes to all three! It's a great informal way to network with others in the industry. There is no type of formal presentation, but the insight you can gain from discussing industry related topics with others can be very beneficial.

So what is the meetup about, again? I'm just curious. Meet new people, learn about new social media stuff, or how to manage the digital social age with reality?

This is a great idea. I find myself spending hours on social media sites.

Here's a rule that I like to follow: Set up your own time frame and decide the amount of hours you want to devote to social media sites. This keeps you from staying on them too long and keeps you from 'wondering' around.
