Lets all meet in Makati Avenue (A-Venue Mall) its not in the middle of Makati and at the same time, people coming from Ortigas wont get too much hassle as theres free parking and theres a route back to Ortigas shaw without too much traffic there.

Hi People.. sorry for the late update. Okay, based on the people who answered the survey, 7 out of 14 people wanted Makati. 9 out of 14 people wanted a Coffee Shop.

I'd like to be honest with all of you that I'm really not a Makati person. I rarely go there so I wouldn't be able to organize an event in a place I'm not familiar with. If anybody's interested to step in and help out to organize it in Makati, I'd be willing to give you all the information I got from the survey. Let me know asap.

Where's final venue?

So when and where is this going to be held? I just realized that the survey has ended yet there are no announcements still :D

since june 30 is a holiday i would stay away form the malls. i reckon there will be lots of people there. if we are looking for a coffee shop, i would reco we look at Starbucks at 6750 Ayala. they have a mezzanine floor. the place is usually full only because of the office crowd.

june 30 will be a non-working holiday here in the philippines, maybe it will be good to meetup or what?

Hi Peanut, Starbucks in Shangrila the one at the 6th floor is quite a big place. Lots of tables and chairs there and it's open. Ang problem lang ata is siyempre kung marami ring ibang tao. Anyway, it's just a suggestion. :) Please fill out the survey so we can decide where to hold it and at least a rough estimate of how many will attend. If anyone knows of a venue, feel free to add it to the comments area. Of course bear in mind if it's a restaurant, we need to pitch in for food.

@Michelle, Starbucks is fine but what if there's like 40 of us? Where is everyone else? I hope it's not just us 3!

Okay.. since we no longer have the original organizer planning the event for us, I just took the liberty of organizing it.

Ortigas would be a good location! :) Is the 'who's interested' number here accurate? What would be a good place? A restaurant? Coffee shop? Hotel Room?? :P Hahaha.
