MassChallenge is the largest-ever startup accelerator and competition, and the first to support high-impact, early-stage entrepreneurs with no strings attached – no equity taken and no restrictions applied to the startups or entrepreneurs that participate. MassChallenge uses a competition format to select startups for the accelerator and provides over $1 million in cash grants annually along with over $10 million of in-kind benefits. Anyone can enter MassChallenge, with any startup, in any industry, from anywhere in the world.
Headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, MassChallenge has officially launch its Israel Program in March 2013 with the support of EMC, the Kraft Group, and others.
The mission of MassChallenge Israel is to enable top-tier Israeli startups to access to global markets by connecting them with the very best people and organizations in the Boston entrepreneurial ecosystem. With the help of Israeli Mentors and Judges, MassChallenge Israel will identify the highest-potential startups in Israel to participate in the MassChallenge accelerator in Boston. During the four-month accelerator period, Israeli startups will have access to world-class mentorship, a top-tier community of several hundred entrepreneurs, education, training, networking events, free housing, free office space, and a chance to win a piece of the $1M in cash prizes.
