I’m Gene Mackles from Auburndale, MA. A few months ago, I invented and self published a card game, IOTA, which won this year’s Mensa Select Mind Games Competition. Am excited about some new ideas and am interested to play test and receive feedback.
Somehow, I managed to get on a meetup email list. My guess is that it may have been through a Game Designer Prototype Meetup Group based at MIT which I’ve attended a few times.
My taste in games is pretty basic... I like word games... Scrabble and Boggle are favorites. Also was intrigued by a game called Qwirkle, which seemed to trigger a “this would be so much better if’ response game that led to my present situation. Lately I have a few buddies that keep ”Words with Friends” games going on FB...

I had a thought about your game on the way home! A quick, alternate version could be made with 2, 3, 4, or 6 equal stacks of tiles numbers facing up. Each player rolls dice and tries to match one of the face up tiles and takes the tile if there is a match. Game ends when one player reaches a tile goal or one pile is fully depleted. Just another variation.
Also thought that a folding board with raised edges would hold the tiles in place (like fancy scrabble boards).
