Help support your MeetupChip in
This meetup is for anyone interested in cultivating spirituality, learning sacred Tantra and Tantra Yoga. Here we will learn about spiritual expansion, foundational aspects of tantric yoga, sacred sensuality, enhancing romance and deeper intimacy, re-igniting passion and more in a safe and welcoming environment. We will be exploring all aspects of Tantra, with the strengthening of our health and vitality as the platform, our relationship with meditation and esoteric practices as a root system, and our inter-relational practices as our ecstatic expression.
Our mission is to explore and teach the unconditional love and sacred connection of all through the vehicle of relationship with Self and Tantra, as we develop and expand our spiritual consciousness and body/mind/spirit awareness.
We'll be meeting mostly in Worcester, Grafton, and surrounding towns each week according to space available. Each time we will explore either foundational physical yoga practices, or new Tantra practice together. The types of activities we practice in Tantra can include breathwork, yoga asanas (poses), forming a daily practice, meditations of varying types, deep listening processes, ecstatic dance, learning to sense and move energy, conscious touch, and more.
Workshops, ongoing classes, and events pertaining to Tantra will be posted here to expand the range of learning for all members, and bring awareness to different teachers and methods.
From time to time we'll invite guest teachers to present their knowledge and sharings, and we'll also direct members to many offerings in the northeast.
What is Tantra?
Tantra is a mystical practice and way of being in the world where we become unified in an experience of our internal divinity. It is the original Yoga, inclusive of the 8 Limbs of Yoga, which has it's foundation on the beginner practices made popular in the west today of asanas and meditation as the doorway of the path of the mystical. The mystical nature of it is what makes it nearly impossible to describe in words, as it must be experienced, and individuals experience it in ways that are unique to them. The best we can do is to express our perceptions and experiences of it to try to share the essence of Tantra with each other.
What is Yoga?
Yoga is the ancient practice of bringing mind, body, and spirit into union utilizing various powerful physical, mental, and spiritual practices.
What we can share are the benefits and results others have expressed:
