What topics are you interested in studying?

Mathematical side of machine learning stuff.

What are your favorite books/papers on these subjects?

Machine Learning: A Probabilistic Perspective - Murphy Characterization, Stability and Convergence of Hierarchical Clustering Methods - Gunnar Carlsson

Do you use these skills in your work?

Yes, I'm working with developing time series disaggregation and are in the mix on FHMM, DHMM, HDP-HSMM, GMM, one-class SVM as well as general statistics.

How many times per week can you meet?

around 1, I will only be in town for 4 more weeks. But I really love the concept of this group.
