I am transitioning into high school physics and math teaching from an optical physics background via alternative route in NJ. I have many interest and a background in physics.
I have a minor and then some in applied mathematics as well as a physics background, yet I am just planning to take up a self-study program in pure mathematics starting with the areas of formal proofs and Real Analysis.
David, You might check out these two free on-line courses:
IIT Kharagpur has "A Basic Course in Real Analysis".
46 videos totaling 41 hours 50 minutes in playlist
IIT Madras has "Real Analysis" https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=...-
52 videos totaling 45 hours 4 minutes in playlist
I have not looked at them but the NPTEL site is pretty good if you don't mind accents.
