Ironwood Wash

This is a 7-mile hike through a deep wash lined with ironwood trees, with an elevation gain of about 650 feet, and continuing into a beautiful canyon deep in the McDowells. Allow 4 hours. Please arrive at the parking lot on the west side of 104th Street, just south of McDowell Mountain Ranch Road, by 7:45 a.m. Appropriate for ages 10 and older.

Dogs are welcome in the Preserve but only service dogs are permitted on guided hikes.
