North Van Night Market at The Shipyards

This event is hosted by Scott. Meet at the vegan & gluten-free "GYPSYtrunk Food Cart" owned by one of our fellow Meatless Meetup Members.  We'll then all grab ourselves something to eat or snack on and find a place to sit, eat, and converse together.

Besides Jen's GYPSYtrunk there are other vegan options to find such as the Aussie pie guy who has a vegan lentil pie, there's corn in a cup, also falafel, plus Marie's vegan desserts, and more.

"Over 80 vendors, over 30 Food Trucks, Great music, Local Artisans, BEER GARDEN! Activities for all ages!"

It's a Farmer's Market meets Night Market with live music.  So you can do your grocery shopping for local farmer-direct produce, fruit, berries, grab a bite to eat, and take in the festivities.

Rain or shine we'll be there (hey, this is Vancouver, get outside, get wet, don't be a wuss).

It's about a 6 minute walk East along the water from the Lonsdale Quay -- you can't miss it!

Really enjoyed encounters with new experience and interesting people.
Jen's wrap tasted delicious and healthy! Also, amazed many vegan & ecofriendly venders there. Definitely I will visit there again. Thank you for organizing this event!!

Sounds great. Now I wish I'd gone. Maybe Scott will organize another trip there.

The meetup went pretty well! The food was good and my kids thought Jen's wraps were "awesome". I'm glad that it didn't rain, and once the sun went down, there was a nice view of the city lights. Thanks to everyone that came along, we had a good time and lots of fun conversations!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
