From a Taste of Health flyer posted on a Choices bulletin board several years ago.
Hands down it's Indigo Age Cafe (www.indigofood.org) by Gastown. I take all my friends there and enjoy the responses that I get from the presentation, the creativeness, the tastes and textures, and the energy that comes from potent, raw food.
Nuba! The atmosphere scores big.
Mostly raw food vegan with a focus on nutrient density. The book "Becoming Raw" by nutritional researcher Vesanto Melina was key for me.
Retired monk, computer doctor, and meditation teacher in search of the best vegan cheesecake. Super duper passionate about the joys of a plant-based diet.
The people are friendly, the food is all about new tastes and textures, and you get to discover more of the city while filling your belly.
